What will you intentionally reinforce?

Earlier this year, I had the amazing experience of traveling with my family to Arches and Canyonlands National Parks for the first time. Wow. Watching my kids take it all in – their awe, joy, sense of adventure – was something I won’t forget.

Standing in those landscapes, you can’t help but think about how they were formed - slowly, bit by bit, over thousands of years. Wind. Sand. Pressure. Small, consistent forces shaping something extraordinary. And the canyons: layer after layer of rock, records of what came before. You can see so clearly that what exists today is the accumulation of history.

In leadership we often look for the big moves: a breakthrough strategy, a perfect decision, a moment everything shifts. But more often, impact is formed the same way as these arches and canyons. Over time.

In the everyday interactions.
In how we respond under pressure.
In the conversations we choose to have (or avoid).
In what we reinforce, again and again.

Individually, those moments can feel small and easy to overlook.
But over time, they compound. Shaping what’s possible.
We are always building culture, whether we’re paying attention or not.

So what will you choose to intentionally reinforce this week - through your words, attention, and actions?
